# Blog licensing policy

Original article text explicitly marked `CC-BY-SA-4.0` is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International. Give appropriate attribution, link to the license and identify changes. Redistributed adaptations must follow its ShareAlike conditions. The [complete legal text](LICENSE-CC-BY-SA-4.0.txt) controls.

Use an explicit notice on each article, including its author and publication date. The [post template](POST-TEMPLATE.md) provides a starting point. A contribution must identify its author and confirm the contributor has permission to offer the original text under these terms. Copyright is not transferred automatically.

## Code and other material
|

|
Code examples use the project's GPL-3.0-only terms unless a separate notice identifies another applicable license. Retain third-party code notices.
|
|
|
|
This policy does not automatically cover site themes, software, logos, trademarks, screenshots, quotations, photographs, music, video, personal information or material supplied by others. Record their applicable rights separately before publication. Inclusion in an article is not a new license grant for them.
|
|
|
|
The policy and template do not constitute a public blog launch or permission to publish private laboratory evidence.
