Community Preview 2 publication checklist

Status: private validation of 0.3.1~community.20261026.2; no public release or blog publication is performed by this preparation.

Item Current position
Candidate identity Preview 2 installer/source names and current inventories; RC7 and Preview 1 remain separate historical artifacts.
Unit tests Preview 2 full suite: 376 PASS in 22.351 seconds. Focused peer regression: 20 PASS, including 8 new peer tests; not an additional full-suite count.
Package and VM Pending at documentation freeze. Use the external QA record for later outcomes and exact hashes.
Control peers Existing loopback peer by default; explicit repeatable IP-literal CLI additions; malformed configuration fails before Store/bind.
Retained guards RPC and administrator identity guards preserved; normal Expanded terminal entrypoint remains separate.
Original code/docs GPL-3.0-only with scope and attribution preserved.
Original blog text Explicit CC-BY-SA-4.0 draft; images, recordings and code retain separate treatment.
Native terms Pinned set reconciled through documented permissive routes; original alternatives and combined notices retained.
Legal records 137 text files, including full MPL and the separate R2 wit-bindgen-rt MIT notice.
Source delivery Matching Preview 2 source plus immutable 82,606,998-byte Preview 1-named dependency asset and R2 supplements, with clear recipient access.
Certifi Unchanged exact upstream sources and notices technically accepted with actual source-access conditions.
Provenance limits Original Mozilla certdata revision unidentified; native wheels not independently rebuilt. Recorded limits, not generic automatic blockers.
Privacy/media Inspect final export and approved demo; real captures complete, conceptual animations labeled.
Downloads and public hosting Verify final accessible files/hashes and actual endpoint when publication is authorized.
Real demonstration Fresh checked Preview 2 recording remains pending.

The legal/source records describe scoped review and concrete delivery obligations, not a universal legal certification. The project's license does not relabel dependencies. Preserve legal attribution and current artifact identities.
