Licensing decision and proposal history
The owner approved GNU GPL version 3 for original FrameBridge material after considering a community-oriented release. This preparation records the exact choice as GPL-3.0-only. Future FSF license versions are not selected automatically.
The earlier Apache-2.0 recommendation favored permissive reuse and commercial integration. It was a proposal, never a first-party license applied by the private preparation. It is superseded by the recorded GPL choice. Dependencies that use Apache or another license retain their applicable terms.
Read the active LICENSE, licensing scope and license status. Original blog article text explicitly identified for that purpose uses CC-BY-SA-4.0, with separate treatment of code and other media.
The remaining provenance, third-party and privacy review items are recorded in the publication checklist. Choosing a project license does not close them or publish the project.
